The Associate Sourcing Manager is responsible for the management of the product development and production process through cross functional team partnerships and vendor relationships. Reporting into the Senior Sourcing Manager to ensure on time delivery of product that meets the company financial goals.
Job Responsibility:
Support the supply chain in partnership with senior sourcing manager and cross functional partners to ensure alignment with business trends and financial goals
Collaborate and partner with Merchant and Planning teams on seasonal product needs
Attend core meetings as needed, partner with senior sourcing manager and merchants to develop/maintain solid understanding of market trends and customer intimacy
Assist with managing receipt flexibility including shifts, chase and delivery updates
Assist in the execution of the global sourcing strategy by maintaining and growing relationships with domestic and international vendors
Analyze seasonal and annual TNA metrics to support PLC, driving on time delivery performance
Analyze cost submits, negotiate costs, and ensure all margin goals meet company targets
Support the Product Lifecycle Calendar to ensure samples are developed on time to meet all meeting requirements
Partner closely with Design, Merchandising, and Technical Design to ensure product execution aligns with the original vision and quality standards. Utilizing Flex PLM, Google Docs and Excel as communication and tracking tools
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in apparel sourcing, production, or product development
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Global Supply Chain, or a related field
Proficiency in Felx PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Familiarity with Google Docs
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and global trade regulations/duties
