Job Description

The Team Lead, Master Data – Pricing & Finance is responsible for leading the governance, maintenance, and integrity of Pricing, Finance, and Transportation master data across enterprise systems. This role ensures data accuracy, process effectiveness, and compliance with established business rules and control requirements that support financial and operational performance. The role also leads complex master data initiatives, partners cross-functionally to define business requirements and implement scalable solutions, and provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to team members. This role is accountable for end-to-end master data governance across Pricing and Finance domains and supports multiple systems, business functions, and process stakeholders. The position requires balancing strategic oversight with operational execution, proactively identifying risks, and influencing cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned data solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads the accuracy, integrity, and governance of Pricing and Finance master data across enterprise systems
  • Establishes and maintains data standards, controls, and business rules in alignment with enterprise policies and audit requirements, including SOX-related controls
  • Serves as the escalation point for complex master data issues and ensures timely resolution
  • Analyzes issues, gathers relevant data, identifies root causes, and recommends effective solutions
  • Ensures master data supports downstream financial, reporting, and operational processes
  • Provides support and guidance to team members on complex and high-volume requests
  • Leads the design, governance, and continuous improvement of master data processes

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in master data, finance operations, business systems, or related role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, billing, and invoicing
  • Ability to troubleshoot pricing and financial data issues across the transaction lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of SAP pricing structures, including condition tables, access sequences, condition types, and pricing procedures
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
