Job Description

Virta Health is on a mission to transform type 2 diabetes and weight-loss care. Current treatment approaches aren’t working—over half of US adults have either type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, and obesity rates are at an all-time high. Virta is changing this by helping people reverse their metabolic condition through innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery reinvented from the ground up. We have raised over $350 million from top-tier investors, and partner with the largest health plans, employers, and government organizations to help their employees and members restore their health and take back their lives. Join us on our mission to reverse diabetes and obesity in one billion people. As Associate Manager, Member Growth, you will play a key role in scaling member awareness communications that drive engagement and enrollment, with a focus on a growing portfolio of state, local, education (SLED) and labor accounts. You’ll secure communication access, refine best-performing playbooks, and implement automated, repeatable strategies to maximize reach with minimal customization—helping more people discover Virta’s life-changing care. This role requires a strategic mindset and a focus on efficiency, ensuring accounts launch successfully and remain engaged through consistent outreach. The SLED and Labor sector is a key area of growth for Virta, and this role will help us better understand the unique needs of these groups and ensure they are effectively supported. You’ll collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation, Sales, and marketing operations teams to streamline execution and expand proven strategies that connect more members to Virta’s mission of reversing type 2 diabetes and obesity at scale. Joining Virta means being part of a fast-growing team making a real impact. As Associate Manager, Member Growth, you'll receive mentorship, hands-on experience with performance-driven decision-making, and opportunities to grow—all while working alongside talented, mission-driven teammates. We value curiosity, impact, and collaboration, and we’re looking for someone proactive, eager to learn, and excited to contribute in a fast-paced environment. With Virta’s record-breaking growth, this is a chance to make a real difference while advancing your career on a team that’s shaping the future of healthcare.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive scalable, automated member growth strategies across the SLED & Labor book of business, collaborating with your Pod lead and team to implement approaches that increase awareness and enrollment
  • Preparation of co-branded materials in support of both Virta-led and client-led communication efforts and ensure those communications are delivered effectively and consistently
  • Represent Virta in client meetings by presenting best practices, supporting planning conversations, and reinforcing recommendations to secure sustained access for long-term growth
  • Advocate for increased communication access by preparing and delivering data-backed strategies that expand member touchpoints and improve engagement
  • Collaborate across teams to scale member growth in a rapidly growing space, ensuring smooth execution with minimal customization

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in customer or growth marketing, with a focus on B2B2C and healthcare (experience in the public sector a plus)
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, balancing multiple initiatives while driving high-impact outcomes
  • Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills, securing marketing access and advocating for scalable strategies
  • Data-driven and analytical, using insights to optimize performance, refine strategies, and scale best practices
  • Ability to simplify complexity and scale impact, balancing customization with efficiency while collaborating across teams
  • Strategic understanding of marketing channels, ensuring the right mix is used to maximize awareness, engagement, and enrollment
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership of work, and proactively partners with stakeholders to move initiatives forward
