As the Associate Marketing Manager, Market & Competitive Intelligence (MICI) for the Global Infusion Therapies & Technologies (ITT) division, you are the strategic engine behind our understanding of markets, competition, and future opportunities. You will own the development of global market models, competitive intelligence frameworks, and insight platforms that guide upstream marketing, portfolio prioritization, innovation investments, and executive decision‑making. You will partner closely with global marketing, regional commercial teams, R&D, strategy, and finance to deliver insights that influence Baxter’s portfolio direction across a $4B global business.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, maintain, and continuously refine global market size, share, and growth models across ITT categories—including IV solutions, clinical nutrition, infusion systems, digital platforms, and patient monitoring
Build robust top-down and bottom-up forecasts integrating third-party data, regional inputs, customer insight, and macro-market indicators
Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of regulatory, clinical, competitive, or economic shifts on future market outlooks
Own the long-range market outlook to support strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and financial modeling across global teams
Create clear, executive-ready deliverables that translate complex data into strategic insight and recommendations
Build and maintain a comprehensive global database of market, technology, and competitive intelligence covering key players, emerging entrants, and category-level dynamics
Deliver proactive, synthesized insights that highlight opportunities, threats, and strategic implications for our portfolio and innovation roadmap
Produce concise, high-impact MICI deliverables for senior leadership—including dashboards, intelligence briefs, and competitive deep-dives
Drive the development, standardization, and automation of MICI reporting tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint-based dashboards)
Partner with regional and upstream marketing teams to translate intelligence into actionable recommendations
Partner with upstream teams to develop TAM/SAM models, opportunity assessments, segmentation analyses, and early-stage business cases
Facilitate alignment of market-driven insights across regions and functions to ensure a unified view of strategic priorities
Influence pipeline decisions by synthesizing market and competitive insights into clear recommendations for NPD, lifecycle planning, and portfolio strategy
Lead the digital transformation of existing manual or offline reporting processes to ensure modern, scalable, and user-friendly tools
Enhance data accessibility and visualization through platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint
Build repeatable reporting frameworks and dashboards that allow global teams to self-serve insights
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or science/technology field required
advanced coursework or an MBA is a plus
2+ years of professional experience with at least 1 year in MedTech, pharmaceuticals or the healthcare industry
Experience supporting global or regional markets is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop market models, interpret complex data sets, and build executive-level insights and recommendations
Deep understanding of global market trends, competitive landscape assessments, and the regulatory environment in the healthcare industry
Experience with industry datasets (e.g., IQVIA, Definitive HC, Clarivate, Sg2) and proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, think-cell)
Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into executive-ready actionable insights and recommendations for business growth
Proven success influencing cross-functional and global stakeholders in a matrixed environment
