Job Description

As the Associate Manager, Lean, you are mainly responsible to ensure the LEAN program is fully implemented in all Manufacturing sites in Asia. You are required to work together with the Lean leaders based on the sites to coordinate and track the projects, conduct loss analysis, and provide coaching based on the required needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and help the sites to identify losses in the operation such as Scrap, Efficiency, Fixed/Variable costs, etc.
  • Coach the loss teams, kaizen events, and problem solving for priority projects within the manufacturing sites
  • Speed up on the reapplication of the best practices throughout the region
  • Monitor execution progress for regional project (Lean, TPM (AM/PM), Digital factory)
  • Provide inputs and coach to manufacturing sites for their Lean sustainability program and ensure robust tracking and reporting of the progress
  • Ensure capabilities are built in the manufacturing teams
  • Deliver support on the sites in areas on safety, quality, productivity, services, and costs.
  • Proactively work with Plants Leaders and cross functional team to find opportunities to improve site competitiveness
  • Develop manufacturing operations and performance system towards World Class Manufacturing Standard
  • Develop LEAN culture across the sites in ASIA, facilitate the people engagement for improvement, continuously assess LEAN program, and track the progress of Lean Maturity/Capability
  • Set the annual targets for LEAN KPIs based on business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree – in related field
  • Minimum 7 years in Manufacturing
  • Strong continuous improvement background (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Holds LEAN & 6Sigma Certification
