Job Description:

Directs workflow for medical records departments and front-end technicians. Establishes support for service priorities by ensuring workflow efficiencies to meet prescription order deliverables.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinates processes and assignments for supervisors and individual contributors to achieve the Front-End OCR area's goals
  • Advises team on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and achievement of the organization's goals and objectives for Front End OCR
  • Develops strategy to ensure the accurate entry of prescriptions with patient payer information
  • Evaluates operating results with established objectives and recommends performance improvement opportunities
  • Controls payroll costs through analyzing allocation of resources and staffing needs
  • Generates and maintains communication throughout the organization
  • Conducts performance appraisals to provide employees with timely and constructive feedback
  • Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs
