Job Description:

This position will report to Senior Manager (Finance Reporting and Analyst) and will work closely with the team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Advanced Analytics team. This position will be responsible for the seamless and efficient delivery of reporting and analytics offerings and support the establishment of meaningful standard global reports to increase efficiency and deliver actionable insights to the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with business leaders, their teams, and their various stakeholders to help discover, deliver, monitor, and enhance various reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Responsible for end-to-end service delivery including design, build and maintain automated reports and dashboards leading to self-service analytics and/or improved business decisions
  • Manage the delivery of comprehensive management reporting packages for all financial statements, including preparation of accounting processes KPI’s for GBS Finance & FP&A
  • Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, estimation, synthesis, and dashboard modeling
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement financial dashboards, models and monitor outcomes
  • Liaise with Reporting & Analytics and Global/ Regional FP&A organization to develop develop standard set of tools that meet business’ needs and help imporve data quality and assoicated governance
  • Liaise with the SMEs and Advanced Analytics team to support the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality / control requirements
  • Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed
  • Guarantee global standard and alignment in all reports, processes, and communication
  • Support finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and / or strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies)
  • Perform financial management reporting to help track business performance to facilitate decision making and business support

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of overall experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of relevant experience working with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx (ETL development, data modeling, data mining, data warehousing & data visualization & reporting)
  • Expertise in data visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau or/and Alteryx
  • Advanced & relevant experience in Business Intelligence techniques (ETL development, data modelling, data mining, data warehousing & data visualization & reporting) with relevant domain experience in finance
  • A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Cloud Data Warehouse/Snowflake/AWS S3
  • Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages (Python, PySpark, Lambda function, Scala, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Expert with advanced excel formulas and experience with Excel VBA
  • Excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • English: Native or bilingual proficiency required
  • Flexibility is required to work in global time zones
  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required

Nice to have:

  • Certification on PowerBI/ Tableau/Alteryx is added advantage
  • Experience in AWS services like AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift & QuickSight, is a plus
  • Excellent financial modelling skills preferred, experience in statistical modelling techniques is a plus
  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx preferred
  • Strong business acumen in corporate functions (such as finance/ FP&A, procurement, human resource & technology) and/ or integrated supply chain (manufacturing, R&D, etc.) is preferred
  • Certifications in Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx/AWS Services/Agile is preferred
  • Professional proficiency in other languages a plus
