The Campbell’s Company is seeking an Associate Manager, Corporate Communications to join a dynamic communications team focused on strategic storytelling, primarily supporting external communications. You will play a critical role in elevating and protecting the company’s reputation through impactful storytelling and thoughtful engagement across audiences and channels.
Job Responsibility:
Support external communications initiatives that align with business priorities and protect and enhance the company’s reputation
Support proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with business, trade, local, and community press
Monitor critical issues impacting the company’s business, brand, and reputation, and prepare mitigation and response plans for time-sensitive situations
Support executive visibility plans for the operating committee
Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and communications KPIs to measure impact and inform continuous improvement
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in communications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field (additional education counts for additional years of experience)
Proven experience in external communications, including storytelling, strategic planning, media relations, and change management
Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills across a variety of formats, including presentations, digital content, social media, blogs, video, and newsletters
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with leaders across a matrixed organization
Demonstrated experience in media relations, policy communications, and issues management
General business and financial literacy, with a strong interest in news and current events shaping the business environment
Strong research and fact‑checking capabilities
Adaptable, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience using collaboration and publishing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint
Design and editing skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video production tools
Experience working in a public company or agency environment
