Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Associate – Logistics Cost Engineering and Modelling to join our team at the Supply Chain Directorate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Utilizing digital tools and advanced analytics to forecast budgets, analyse logistics data, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the global supply chain
  • Supporting the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize transportation and warehousing processes, contributing to cost-efficient logistics operations
  • Collaborating across departments to understand the dynamics of various functions and ensuring seamless coordination between supply chain elements
  • Applying engineering methodologies to evaluate and improve logistics processes, focusing on throughput optimization, waste reduction, and operational cost minimization
  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions to address logistical challenges, utilizing digital platforms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost estimation
  • Preparing comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate findings, insights, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate documentation to ensure transparency in logistics process enhancements and cost analysis methodologies
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in identifying improvement areas, particularly in transportation and warehousing, to align with organizational goals
  • Leveraging digitalization to improve existing logistics processes and drive innovation in cost estimation and performance tracking

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Mathematical Engineering or related engineering fields
  • Proficiency in digital tools and technologies for data analysis, budget forecasting, and logistics optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in deriving actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions) and familiarity with other Office programs
  • Familiarity with logistics processes, transportation systems, and warehouse operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build global partnerships
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement and digitalization in logistics engineering
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse cultural perspectives and organizational needs
  • A team player with a self-initiative mindset who thrives in a dynamic environment

Nice to have:

Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), AnyLogic, Minitab, AutoCAD, and data mining software like RapidMiner, KNIME, or Weka will be considered advantage in the recruitment process, as these skills significantly contribute to logistics process optimization, data analysis, simulation modeling, and warehouse layout design
