Job Responsibility

  • Drafting and reviewing employment and commercial matters
  • Assisting in providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal (employment) topics
  • Assisting with the review and negotiation of client and commercial agreements, and supporting internal employment compliance efforts
  • Handling and assisting with a variety of other legal (employment) issues and projects as they arise
  • Reviewing and assisting with product-led developments in Deel's offerings

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Dutch attorney or inhouse Legal Counsel, advising corporate clients in the Netherlands
  • Strong expertise in Dutch employment law
  • Experience advising on cross-border employment
  • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment
  • Interest in working for a tech company is a must

Nice to have

  • Dutch labour law master is a plus
  • Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus
