Job Responsibility:
Drafting and reviewing employment and commercial matters
Assisting in providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal (employment) topics
Assisting with the review and negotiation of client and commercial agreements, and supporting internal employment compliance efforts
Handling and assisting with a variety of other legal (employment) issues and projects as they arise
Reviewing and assisting with product-led developments in Deel's offerings
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Dutch attorney or inhouse Legal Counsel, advising corporate clients in the Netherlands
Strong expertise in Dutch employment law
Experience advising on cross-border employment
Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Fluency in English required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus
High ethical standards and sound judgment
Interest in working for a tech company is a must
Nice to have:
Dutch labour law master is a plus
Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus
