Job Description:

As an Associate Legal Counsel (Transactional), you’ll play a key role in the negotiation and drafting of key agreements, ensuring our business operations are scalable, effective, and legally sound. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Operations, Strategy, and Marketing. Your role involves providing strategic legal advice on high-stakes transactions, fostering commercial innovation while balancing risk management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drafting and negotiating complex agreements with employers for the supply of Satispay’s welfare services
  • Managing the end-to-end legal lifecycle of partnerships with strategic players in the payment services industry
  • Providing legal support for the participation in public and private procurement processes
  • Advising on and drafting contracts for marketing campaigns, advertising services, co-branding initiatives as well as with creative agencies
  • Constantly updating and refining standard templates to reflect regulatory changes and business needs

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with a strong background in reputable law firms
  • At least 5 years of experience in advising clients on commercial law, transactional matters, and complex contract drafting and negotiations
  • Familiarity with the Tech/Fintech ecosystem, including payment schemes and the regulatory complexities of digital financial products
  • Previous in-house experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to take smart risks and align contractual requirements with business objectives
  • Skilled negotiator, able to manage pressure and find win-win solutions in complex commercial discussions
  • Confident in making decisions in situations of ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and simplify legal complexities for business teams
  • Fluent in English and Italian
