Associate Lecturer - Statistics Theory and Practice

Contribute to teaching and supporting students in statistical theory and applied statistical methods, including probability and distribution theory, statistical inference, analysis of variance, linear regression, and statistical programming in R

• A strong academic foundation in statistical theory and applied statistics
• The ability to clearly explain complex theoretical concepts and support statistical problem-solving
• The ability to support students in using R for statistical analysis
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Previous teaching or academic experience covering probability spaces, random variables, conditional distributions, the multivariate normal distribution, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, likelihood and sufficiency, maximum likelihood estimators, one-way designs, analysis of variance, least squares estimators, and simple and multiple linear regression
