Do you have a passion for teaching epidemiology? Join Birkbeck, University of London, as an Associate Lecturer delivering epidemiology classes to our undergraduate bioscience students this Autumn 2026. As Associate Lecturer, you will contribute to teaching on the final year of our BSc Bioscience and Health and BSc Biomedicine programme, preparing and delivering an epidemiology module to students who have chosen this module. You will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching within the biological and health sciences and to providing support to students that fosters academic growth. The appointment is to cover a 15-credit, Level 6 module, Epidemiology (EPI). EPI is taught in the Autumn term (Oct-Dec) and you will deliver the classes 6 - 9 pm on Thursdays. The work would require 27 contact hours of teaching as well as preparation of teaching materials, organization, communication with students, student support, and assessment marking.
