We are seeking an associate lecturer to teach furniture design on MA Design: Ceramics, Furniture, Jewellery. We are looking for someone with industry or production experience who can demonstrate an open and speculative ability to engage with the broad spectrum of furniture culture explored on the course. You will be interested in encouraging both conceptual experimentation and formal realisation via a clear professional knowledge. You must be able to demonstrate that they have a critical sensitivity to the subject culture and the future possibilities of its historical, social, material, technological, psychological and environmental implications. This is an hourly paid lecturer role – your schedule will be term time only and will vary throughout the year.

Teaching experience in an HE environment (as hourly paid, part time or full time)
HE qualifications related to furniture design
Resident in the UK
