Driving Complex Tax Planning and M&A Initiatives
Gain exposure to complex matters supporting a sophisticated client base including corporations, partnerships, trusts, high-net-worth individuals, and government entities, while advancing your expertise in Canadian tax law
Requirements
Admission to the Ontario Bar (or eligible for admission)
Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in tax planning, ideally with exposure to M&A and corporate transactions
Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to handle complex legal issues with precision and professionalism
Completion of the in-depth taxation course or M.Tax an asset
Nice to have
In-depth knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and M&A transactions
Clerkship experience with Canadian Tax Court
Familiarity with broader tax disciplines or related legal areas
