EUROIMMUN US Quality Control Department aims to be a full-service Quality Control and reference laboratory offering product testing to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards, complaint testing, and customer support. The Laboratory Technologist will be a valuable addition to the Quality Control laboratory. Under the guidance of the laboratory manager, the Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality through comprehensive testing and analysis in our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The Laboratory Technologist will report to the Quality Control Manager.
Job Responsibility
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and complying with all safety and regulatory requirements
Perform routine and non-routine qualification of raw material, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation
Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of test results
Interpret test results accurately and promptly, identifying any deviations from specifications or quality standards
Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies and document all quality control activities, instrument and equipment verifications, procedural calibrations, and maintenance performed
Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues
Ensuring other assigned tasks are completed as necessary
Perform other delegated tasks, as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field
0-2 years of Quality Control experience in a regulated industry
Nice to have
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work activities
Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Manual dexterity is required to operate and manipulate equipment
Frequent standing and walking around the lab
Long hours of sitting on the computer might be required
Experience in ELISA, IFT, Blot, and other Microbiology & Immunology testing principles & techniques
Previous experience working in a quality control laboratory within a manufacturing environment
Understanding of quality assurance principles, GMP/GLP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, ISO)
