Job Description:

Do you want to work in an international environment, in a role where you have a strong responsibility to manage and develop the internal IT infrastructure? We are now looking for a Associate IT Engineer, Operations to join our team in Utrecht.

Job Responsibility:

  • Day-to-day work and handling of first and second line IT support for internal cases via a case management system
  • Managing our workstations, servers and administer our web-based collaboration tools
  • Administration and further development of our internal IT infrastructure in Windows, macOS and Linux environments
  • Evaluate, manage and implement new tools and technologies

Requirements:

  • A bachelor degree in one of the Computer Engineering disciplines or other relevant education in System Administration / IT
  • 0-2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and workstations imaging
  • Apple macOS knowledge is recommended
  • A knowledge of server environment for both Windows and Linux
  • Previous experience working with Office 365, VMware and Active Directory
  • Performed hands-on end user desktop troubleshooting sessions
  • Worked with network management in previous roles
  • A good command of the English language is a requirement

Nice to have:

  • A scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash or Python is a plus
  • Knowledge of Service Desk incident and case management system would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a big plus
