Banking is responsible for the origination, execution, and portfolio management of all corporate banking products and services, including credit, treasury management, and deposits; providing coverage and execution for all investment banking solutions, including capital raising, subscription finance, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). The Financial Sponsors Group is seeking an Associate with prior Infrastructure Fund investment banking coverage and Project Finance experience to join their team in our New York City office The team partners with both industry and product groups to deliver high quality advice and solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of corporate and investment banking products (including M&A, capital markets, LBOs, etc.), a strong work ethic, ability to research and generate unique content for clients, and creative, team-oriented approach to solving problems. The Associate will have the opportunity to work with private equity clients as they evaluate and execute new equity and debt investments, monetize existing investments, and contemplate capital structure solutions at both the portfolio company and fund level. This work will allow the candidate to cover a wide range of complex transactions including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, recapitalizations, strategic advisory assignments, and executions of public and private capital markets transactions.
