The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Tukwila, WA. This individual will work with both senior and junior staff members to administer and implement United States (US) Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the Department of Defense (DoD) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security rules and/or other authoritative sources of security regulations. As an individual contributor, this individual will ensure programmatic security posture is compliant with all applicable regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as required
  • Conduct inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Prepare activity or program concept of operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations
  • establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials
  • Coordinate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals, security rulings or deviations as may be required
  • Validate internal security controls through the performance of detailed compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections Identifies deficiencies

  • Assist lesser experienced employees with the administration and execution of security protocols

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • 1+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
  • Experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Ability to support after-hours deployments and rotational on-call
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62)
