Job Description

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Associate HR Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, you will have full responsibility of your client group which consists of stakeholders across depots and Head Offices and other functions.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide a full generalist HR operations and advisory service, working together with the wider HR team and other Business Partners, to a client group of circa. 5,500 colleagues across 63 depots and Head Offices
  • Emphasis on HR Operational tasks and providing support to HRBPs and providing advice and guidance to managers in respect of employee relations, policies, and other general HR issues

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified and/or membership
  • Proven experience working within a fast-paced, preferably agile environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and new ways of thinking
  • Come from an HR Generalist background with experience of ER
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law
  • Persuasive advisor, comfortable in interacting with colleagues at all levels including senior management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional, personable, with a hit the ground running attitude
  • Support in the delivery of People Plan activities/change initiatives in business area
  • Partner with stakeholders and their teams to understand their business objectives and related people needs
  • Support on implementation of HR initiatives
  • Support recruitment activity in partnered business area
  • Act as an ambassador in driving positive culture, and ensuring values are embedded in every stage of the colleague life cycle
