We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Associate General Counsel to join our legal team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to various departments, focusing on contracts, real estate, compliance, and employment matters. Job Responsibility:
Offer legal guidance on contracts, real estate transactions, compliance, and employment issues to internal teams
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements such as vendor contracts, service agreements, sponsorships, and real estate leases
Support property-related matters, including land acquisitions, lease negotiations, easements, and zoning requirements
Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry-specific regulations
Collaborate with the General Counsel to manage disputes, oversee claims, and coordinate with external legal counsel
Advise on employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, and contractual agreements
Safeguard and manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and copyrights
Identify potential risks and design proactive strategies to mitigate legal exposure
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure practical and business-aligned legal strategies
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law
Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, ideally covering corporate law, contracts, real estate, and regulatory compliance
Strong expertise in commercial contracts, property law, employment law, and compliance frameworks
Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to diverse audiences
Skilled in negotiation, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes while maintaining strong relationships
Adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making
Nice to have:
Experience in advertising, media, or real estate industries is preferred but not required
