SiriusXM is seeking an experienced regulatory attorney to serve as a strategic legal advisor on Federal Communications Commission (FCC) matters impacting its satellite radio, spectrum, wireless, and communications businesses. Reporting to the SVP, Regulatory Counsel, this role will help shape and execute the company’s regulatory strategy, represent SiriusXM before the FCC and industry stakeholders, and provide legal guidance on licensing, compliance, and emerging communications issues. The Associate General Counsel will partner closely with Legal, Engineering, Product, Business Development, and Sales teams to navigate complex regulatory challenges, assess risk, and support business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong background in FCC practice and procedure, with expertise in areas such as satellite communications, spectrum management, wireless, broadcast, and subscription services
  • Experience working on engineering-adjacent regulatory issues, including interference and coordination matters
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to provide strategic, actionable guidance to executives and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies
