The Associate General Counsel - Litigation is primarily responsible for managing defensive, and where appropriate, affirmative litigation for health plans. This includes internal fact investigation, strategic decision-making and partnering with the business and outside counsel to successfully manage the cases. This role also includes providing risk assessment and guidance to various business areas on a wide variety of issues as they arise. The role includes providing litigation support to our behavioral health, PBM, specialty pharmacies, benefits management company and the overpayment investigation and recovery areas. Works as a strategic partner and decision maker with more senior leaders, and manages work independently.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Requires a JD, current license to practice law, and a minimum of 9 years of specific industry and/or technical legal experience post licensure
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
