A growing wealth management firm in Springfield, VA, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join its collaborative and client-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in financial planning while receiving direct mentorship from experienced advisors. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop advisory skills, and grow within a supportive Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment!

Job Responsibility:

  • Support senior advisors with financial planning and client service activities
  • Assist in preparing financial plans, investment recommendations, and client presentations
  • Participate in client meetings and follow-up communications
  • Conduct research and analysis related to client financial strategies
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure organized workflow processes
  • Learn and apply comprehensive financial planning best practices

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or related discipline preferred
  • CFP® coursework completed or in progress required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to ask questions and learn
  • Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career as a financial advisor
