The Associate Finance Manager, Finance Business Partnering will play a critical role in driving financial accuracy, operational insight, and business performance across Unilever Food Solutions Customer Development and FoodServiceDirect.com. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with cross-functional leaders (Operations, Category Management, Marketing, Technology, and Customer Experience) while ensuring strong financial governance and reporting. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of controllership rigor, analytical excellence, and business acumen—someone who can dive into details, build processes, influence stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Be the direct business partner to the UFS eCommerce team along with other high growth spaces, whilst being the key Finance connection point between these two fast growing businesses
Provide financial modeling and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, new business cases, pricing changes, and operational improvements
Collaborate with business leaders to analyze performance trends, forecast key drivers, and identify opportunities for margin improvement
Develop and deliver clear, concise insights that help senior leadership make data-driven decisions
Support annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes
Work closely with Operations teams to evaluate inventory management, logistics cost drivers, and profitability levers
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiencies across Controllership and FP&A activities
Enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI tracking to improve visibility and accountability
Partner with Technology & Data teams to strengthen financial systems integrity and optimization
Own the RFP process and closely partner with business development teams
Own P&L reporting for assigned business areas, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and actionable insights
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with corporate accounting policies
Partner with external and internal auditors to support audit requirements and documentation
Strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, and compliance frameworks
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Business Partnering, FP&A, Controllership, or related Finance roles
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA is a strong plus
Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial controls, and accounting processes
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) is preferred
Prior experience in e-commerce industry is a strong plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
