Job Description:

The role involves working in the Structures Team to design structures that deliver clients' requirements and make a positive difference to the community. The team focuses on value engineering, creating structures with performance efficiencies, and developing safe, considered, and innovative solutions for challenging construction projects.

Job Responsibility:

Work on a variety of projects in a client facing capacity
Provide structural engineering expertise
Ensure the highest standards of quality
Mentor developing engineers within the group

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
10+ years demonstrated experience in structural engineering
Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards
Demonstrated experience at a senior level of project design and commercial outcomes for projects
Experience in writing tenders and proposals, leading projects and communicating with clients
An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desire to develop their own team and client base
Desire to win work with support from the Structures Team
