Job Description:

The Associate Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform Functional Consultant role at NTT DATA offers an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals to support the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. Candidates will engage with clients, assist in documentation, and configure components under supervision. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business processes and requirements
  • Assist in documenting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  • Participate in client demos, showcases, and playback sessions to build confidence in client-facing communication
  • Support user adoption activities through documentation, guides, and training support
  • Configure Dynamics 365 CE components (e.g. entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows) under supervision
  • Assist with Power Platform components such as Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and basic Power BI artefacts
  • Support the configuration and validation of Copilot-enabled features within Dynamics 365 CE modules
  • Gain hands-on exposure to agent-based scenarios (e.g. Customer Service Copilot, knowledge suggestions, summarization)
  • Support solution architects and senior consultants in ensuring functional designs are implemented as intended
  • Assist with test case creation, execution, and defect logging
  • Support user acceptance testing
  • Help ensure functional solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update configuration records
  • Actively build foundational knowledge of: Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Copilot concepts, responsible AI principles, and agent fundamentals
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing, training sessions, and certifications
  • Apply learning from Microsoft documentation, release waves, and supervised delivery experience
  • Support presales activities such as demo preparation, documentation, and research
  • Assist in preparing solution descriptions and functional inputs for proposals
  • Contribute to internal assets, templates, and reusable delivery artefacts

Requirements:

  • Exposure to Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform through project work, internships, or graduate roles
  • Understanding of basic CRM concepts (customers, cases, leads, opportunities, workflows)
  • Foundational understanding of Power Platform capabilities
  • Awareness of Copilot and AI concepts within Dynamics 365 CE
  • Strong written communication skills and willingness to engage with clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a delivery team

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on exposure to Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service configuration
  • Experience building simple Power Automate flows or Power Apps
  • Exposure to Copilot features, AI-assisted CRM scenarios, or agent concepts
  • Internship, graduate program, or early-career consulting experience
