Job Description:

HSBC Digital Business Services is seeking a high calibre professional to join as an Associate Director to provide essential operational and technical support, helping improve customer service and efficiency globally. The role involves maximizing productivity, managing operational activities, developing staff, and executing approved business plans while supporting new business initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Maximises productivity, efficiency and profitability
Ensure the highest level of support to meet on-going business needs and expectations both during & post migration
Manages day-to-day operational activities to safeguard the bank from potential loss
Develops a quality staff force through good performance, achieving fast goal and through training and motivation
Supports new business development and change initiatives
Executes approved strategies and business plans

Requirements:

Strong experience in Securities Operations with experience in settlement is advantage
Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content
Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic
Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
Personal qualities of stability, maturity and leadership
Team player and people motivator
First class interpersonal, collaborative, relationship building and influencing skills
Excellent communicator, ability to work in English, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or business studies equivalent
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of HK stock market, Stock Connect, US Stock market is advantage
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Structured Derivative is advantage

Nice to have:

Experience in settlement
In-depth knowledge of HK stock market
Knowledge of Stock Connect
Knowledge of US Stock market
Understanding of Structured Derivative
