Job Description

JLL is seeking a results-oriented Associate Director with 7+ years of experience in managing complex commercial transactions and supporting strategic portfolio initiatives, based out of Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to negotiate high-value leases, conduct market and financial analysis, and ensure compliance with global standards. Recognized for delivering measurable cost savings and operational efficiency while collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full transaction lifecycle including site selection, lease/purchase negotiations, due diligence, and closings
  • Develop and implement transaction strategies aligned with client business objectives
  • contribute individually to multiple transactions
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, brokers) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
  • Analyse market data to inform decision-making and negotiate favourable terms
  • Perform sophisticated financial and market analysis, including cash flow modelling and Stay vs Go analysis using Excel
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Maintain JLL and client standards for transaction quality and service excellence
  • Document processes and best practices for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in managing complex commercial transactions and supporting strategic portfolio initiatives
  • Proven ability to negotiate high-value leases, conduct market and financial analysis, and ensure compliance with global standards
  • Proficiency with real estate data platforms and MS Office Suite
  • Excel financial modelling and analysis expertise (mandatory)
  • Lease contract analysis and negotiation experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certifications (MRICS/RICS preferred)
  • Experience in corporate portfolio management or commercial real estate transactions
  • Knowledge of lease administration and property management principles
