Job Description:

We are looking for an Associate Director, Third Party Processes & Operations to join our team. As the successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in advancing the objectives of Development Operations by designing and improving innovative third-party management processes, guidelines and models. This position is responsible for ensuring that all the above areas are effective, efficient, compliant, and work for their end-users while being aligned with DevOps's strategies and ambitions in effective and excellence in the Management of our Third-Parties for successful delivery of their services. Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement and maintain TPM processes or outsourcing models to achieve DevOps's strategic and operational goals under strategic guidance of the Head of Processes&Operations
  • Ensure TPM processes or outsourcing models are embedded business as usual, compliant with GSK standards and regulatory requirements and enable the desired outcomes
  • Develop and execute process/model oversight mechanisms (issue tracking and trending, performance KPIs/other metrics, management monitoring), evaluate data and implement mitigations and improvements
  • Propose opportunities for TPM process improvements, third party model improvements, and/or system enhancements
  • Lead and/or support initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation in third party management
  • Develop and provide required end-user support to ensure appropriate execution against processes and requirements
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, relevant global processes owners and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline
  • Extensive experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry or a related field with strong expertise in clinical operations and third party management
  • Expertise in process mapping, modelling, and redesigning workflows to streamline operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage process improvement projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress with strong organizational skills to ensure goals are met within tight deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to clearly articulate process changes and their impact to stakeholders across various levels of the organization
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaborator with experience in building networks of partners and stakeholders and broadly engaging with expert communities

  • Advanced degree, MSc or equivalent in a scientific discipline
