Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering within the GTS Technology business. The role involves project management, technical leadership, stakeholder alignment, production support, and team management.

Job Responsibility:

Provide financial insights and quotations for project planning, from requirements gathering to production support
Present features using a well-structured storytelling model
Oversee the technical aspects of the team, ensuring the technology stack is up-to-date
Manage technical debt
Create and manage technology roadmaps
Lead cross-functional technical initiatives
Ensure compliance with technical standards and best practices
Manage production stability, handle incidents, resolve issues promptly, and implement prevention measures
Provide top-tier support to maintain system availability and performance
Build trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders
Align IT initiatives with business goals
Provide regular updates and detailed reports to stakeholders and senior management
Lead and manage agile teams of 10+ staff
Coach and guide teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

Minimum 12+ years in software development, with a focus on Business Intelligence (BI)
Proven experience leading agile, cross-functional teams and managing production support and incident management
Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, DevOps, and Agile Control Framework
Proficiency in managing technical environments, setting future technology directions, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent, motivating staff to achieve optimal performance and career growth
A passion for technology and a proactive approach to bringing new ideas to the team.
