Job Description:

We are looking for a high calibre candidate to join the fast growing Repo Trading team based in Tokyo, servicing our clients across the whole region and globally.

Job Responsibility:

Price and risk manage fixed income financing transactions upon coordinating with offshore trading desks
Employing cost effective hedging strategies to manage desk risk
Generating trade ideas, discussing these with Sales and also directly with clients
Manage the counterparty, market and liquidity risks that are generated in the portfolio
Work closely with all our internal Stakeholders including Senior Management, other Trading/Sales Desks, MKTY, ALCM, Risk, Operations, Product Control, Finance, Legal, Technology and all other Functions

Requirements:

Well-developed trading skill set in JPY Rates and JGB repos
Good understanding of the wider markets across global rates
Some knowledge and a strong interest to constantly learn more about flow credit bonds, equity financing and structured products such as CLO
Motived to work towards revenue targets in a sustainable manner
Interest to improve existing and create new products, tools and processes for the desk
Strong skills in team working and a passion to continue to work as part of a team
High degree of self-motivation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent speaking abilities in both Japanese and English
