Job Description

As Associate Director, Growth Innovation, you’ll lead the charge in building, testing, and scaling new growth levers across Airwallex. You’ll own a portfolio of high-upside experiments—especially around Rewards and Campaigns—partnering with senior leaders across Growth, Product, Data Science, and Marketing to turn validated ideas into scalable programs that drive acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue. Job Responsibility

  • Lead growth experiments end to end: Design the Airwallex roadmap for Rewards and Campaigns, set hypotheses, define target segments, and measure impact on acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue
  • Identify and size new opportunities: Collaborate with the strategy team to define ideal customer profiles, priority use cases, and product adoption journeys
  • adapt Rewards and Campaigns for global and regional market differences
  • Build the growth testing system: Establish frameworks, instrumentation, and review cadences for experiment design, governance, and decision logs
  • ensure reliable data and consistent, data-driven decisions
  • Drive creative for growth: Partner with the Creative Lead to brief, test, and ship assets (visual, copy, video) aligned with brand and product strategy
  • run structured creative testing to lift conversion
  • Deliver cross-functionally: Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Science to scope, resource, and ship experiments
  • define rollout plans and operating processes to ensure scalability and compliance
  • Influence strategy: Synthesize experiment insights into recommendations for roadmap, resourcing, and go-to-market
  • communicate progress and decisions to senior leadership to align with company priorities
  • People leadership: Lead and scale a small team, mentoring and developing talent to raise the bar for execution quality

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in Growth, with at least 3 years managing a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end growth experiments and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with growth analytics, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, product-led growth, or B2B SaaS
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, preferably within a startup or scale-up
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is a plus
