Job Description

This is where creativity meets strategy. As a member of the Baxter Marketing team, you will work on designing, developing and implementing marketing programs and pricing strategies. You’ll leverage your expertise to present our life-sustaining and live-saving products and services to the relevant market sector. Working in collaboration with the sales and technical teams, there will be opportunity for learning, development and future career growth across a variety of fields within Baxter.

Job Responsibility

  • Innovation Pipeline Management: Lead the development and execution of the innovation pipeline for Baxter's Adult Clinical Nutrition products, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning strategies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, regulatory, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and support for innovation initiatives
  • Product Development: Oversee the product development process from ideation to commercialization, ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. Develop product specifications and manage timelines effectively
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform product enhancements and new product development
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the Adult Clinical Nutrition portfolio, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance post-launch, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success and identify areas for improvement
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams and other stakeholders on new products and innovations, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate product benefits to customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Business, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of product management experience in healthcare or nutrition
  • clinical nutrition experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into product strategies
  • Proficient in market research methods and tools to assess trends, customers, and competition
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Proven project management skills, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting timelines
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and quality standards, with a passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes
