Job Description

A sophisticated family office is seeking an Associate Director to take ownership across tax compliance, investment operations, portfolio reporting, treasury, and process improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong generalist who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to play a key role across multiple functions.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate work across legal, banking, insurance, investment, and tax advisors
  • Improve processes, workflows, reporting, and operational infrastructure
  • Support investment operations, subscription documentation, and portfolio reporting
  • Oversee tax processes for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and related entities
  • Assist with treasury activity, cash movements, entity administration, and insurance renewals

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, financial services, family office, or a related environment
  • Strong hands-on tax experience
  • Ability to operate independently with a high level of ownership and follow-through
  • Comfort working across technical, operational, and strategic responsibilities
  • CPA preferred
  • equivalent experience considered
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in family office services, public accounting, financial services, or a similar environment with meaningful tax responsibility
  • Strong working knowledge of partnership tax, investment operations, and reporting for complex financial structures
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, closely held entities, or business owners is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functional areas, including tax, portfolio administration, and process improvement
  • Familiarity with alternative investments, estate planning coordination, client reporting, and cash flow-related activities

  • Greets tours, escorts to the Discovery Room while engaging with the prospects/influencers to create a smooth introduction to the Director of Sales
  • Manages the customer relationship management system including prospect/influencer data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports in accordance with a schedule of reports or as requested
  • Assists daily in visiting model apartment(s) and tour path to ensure the community is ready for company, shows well and meets the model apartment standards including sight, sound, and scent
  • Makes outbound calls to prospects/influencers that demonstrate effective telephone sales skills resulting in the generation of a tour or mutually agreed upon next step
  • Monitors sales collateral to ensure inventory levels are appropriate, orders sales collateral through the online portal as needed
  • Organizes, coordinates, and assists in the planning and execution of the sales event calendar
  • Conducts tours as needed during sales coverage times or when other sales team members are committed to other prospects/influencers
  • Administers the “UPs” log as the gatekeeper of all new prospects to ensure equitable distribution of leads to the Director of Sales
