Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Associate / Associate Director - Civil to build, grow and lead our Civil Engineering division in Townsville. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the growth of the team, expanding our business through strategic development, and providing technical guidance and direction to the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Spearheading business development efforts to grow the Civil Engineering division in Townsville
  • Leveraging existing client relationships to expand clientele across North Queensland
  • Be responsible for growing, leading, mentoring and inspiring the Civil Engineering team
  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to the team
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company by identifying growth opportunities and new markets within the Civil Engineering sector

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record in business development, with experience in growing engineering divisions or practices
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Extensive experience in delivering civil engineering projects across a variety of sectors
  • Strong technical expertise and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively
