Job Description:

Collaborate closely with leadership in Global Corporate Affairs to drive strategic initiatives and ensure seamless operations. Work with global teams, monitor budget spending, and lead initiatives related to corporate communications, sustainability, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff and the Head of Global Corporate Social Responsibility & Partnership Strategy
  • Drive strategic initiatives and ensure effective execution of vital global corporate affairs priorities
  • Manage and coordinate key Global Corporate Affairs activities such as mid-range plan and mid-year commitment budget planning, compiling monthly reports, facilitating meetings, organizing and executing special projects within the GCA framework
  • Act as the main contact for GCA members and stakeholders representing the Chief of Staff Office
  • Monitor budget spending in collaboration with the GCA Leadership Team and Finance Business Partner
  • Lead GCA-wide strategic initiatives and employee engagement
  • Contribute to corporate communications, sustainability, and public affairs
  • Lead GCA monthly meetings and town halls
  • Coordinate presentations for the Chief Global Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer
  • Support the Chief of Staff and Head of Global CSR and Partnership Strategy as needed.

Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of the organization with 8+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals
  • Business level of Japanese and English language skills required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, credibility, and dedication to patients
  • Ability to work in a self-governing manner and manage multiple priorities though-out a demanding timeline (operating in an ambiguous environment, with minimal supervision, whilst maintaining personal drive and self-motivation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building successful relationships with key stakeholders internally/externally
  • Project management skills to drive cross group initiatives and deliver on results
  • Flexibility and willingness to lead a variety of assignments
  • Ability to stretch beyond comfort zone and challenge the status quo
  • Listening skills and openness to critical feedback
  • Excellence execution ability and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering operational excellence, bringing agility and smoothness to Global Corporate Affairs operations
