Our client is a leading provider of professional education, corporate training, and advisory solutions, supporting organizations across the MENA region in developing high-impact talent capabilities. They are seeking an Associate Director, Business Development to be based in the UAE, focused on driving B2B growth across the region. This role is critical in expanding the client base, securing high-value corporate partnerships, and positioning the organization as a market leader in learning and development. Success will be defined by consistently exceeding revenue targets, leveraging senior-level networks, and closing complex, long-term training contracts. This is a senior, commercially driven leadership role with full ownership of new business acquisition and account expansion across the UAE and wider MENA market. The Associate Director will lead strategic sales initiatives across a diversified portfolio of professional training solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored, high-value offerings. The role requires deep market expertise, a strong network within corporate and government sectors, and the ability to influence decision-makers at the highest level.
Job Responsibility
Lead new client acquisition and business development initiatives across the MENA region, driving sustained revenue growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed high-value revenue targets across a diversified portfolio
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
Leverage an established network of senior HR, L&D, and C-suite stakeholders to secure large-scale B2B contracts
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and repeat business
Collaborate with internal teams to design and position customized training and development solutions
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies and positioning
Drive proposal excellence and contribute to high-impact client presentations and negotiations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Master's degree preferred
15+ years of business development experience, including at least 7 years within B2B sales in the L&D or corporate training sector in the GCC
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and securing high-value corporate contracts
Strong existing network across corporate and government sectors in the MENA region
Deep expertise in selling professional training solutions across finance, leadership, digital, and qualifications
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach
