Job Description

Translates enterprise HR digital strategy into executable roadmaps, platform decisions, and delivered outcomes across Baxter’s global Workday ecosystem. Serves as the Global Workday Lead, responsible for driving roadmap execution, governance, innovation, and adoption of Workday and AI-enabled capabilities in support of business objectives, global scalability, and improved employee experience. Acts as a senior execution partner to HR Digital leadership, HR COEs, IT BRMs & Delivery teams, Global Business Services, and external vendors, ensuring disciplined delivery while remaining engaged in the level of detail required to effectively direct teams and navigate complex global environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Drives execution of the global Workday roadmap, translating defined HR digital strategy into prioritized initiatives and delivered outcomes
  • Serves as the Global Workday product lead, coordinating execution across Workday HCM, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Compensation, Payroll, and Time & Attendance
  • Leads the HR & Workday governance process, including intake, prioritization, and decision forums
  • Partners closely with HR Digital leadership to ensure strategic priorities are clearly translated into executable plans
  • Represent HR Digital Operations in cross-functional and leadership forums
  • Drive active Workday release readiness and adoption
  • Drives adoption of Workday innovations and Microsoft Copilot-enabled use cases
  • Translates emerging technology and AI capabilities into practical execution plans
  • Coordinates the Workday integration landscape from an execution perspective
  • Serve as the lead partner to IT BRMs
  • Owns strategic relationship with HR vendors
  • Serves as the HR Digital Operations compliance lead for Workday
  • Supports HR digital execution related to acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes
  • Lead process-to-configuration workshops
  • Leads and develops a globally distributed team (4–5 resources)

  • Demonstrated ability to execute within a defined strategy, translating priorities into structured plans and delivered outcomes
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-module Workday environments
  • Strong functional and system knowledge across Workday HCM, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Compensation Payroll, and Time & Attendance
  • Experience leveraging Workday innovations and Microsoft Copilot (or similar AI-enabled tools) to enhance operational efficiency and insight
  • Strong organizational and judgment skills, with the ability to balance tactical realities with enterprise priorities
  • Ability to connect dependencies, anticipate impacts, and drive clarity across teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills in global environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • HR, Business, or Information Systems preferred
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in HR systems, HR digital operations, or related roles
  • Experience leading teams and working across global delivery models strongly preferred
  • Experience transforming or operating under Global-Intelligent Business Services organizations
  • Preferred experience on Workday and Service Now systems
