Job Description

We are hiring an Associate Design Manager to join a top entertainment company in Orlando, FL. This position will run for 6 months and will be hybrid in their Orlando office (4 days a week onsite, Friday remote)

Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop consumer products from concept to production
  • Support product execution across multiple categories, with a focus on consumables, ensuring strong design integrity, quality, and value
  • Design and approve packaging for consumables, including layout, graphics, and structural considerations
  • Review and approve 4 color process print proofs to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Partner with development teams to align designs with nutritional guidelines and compliance standards
  • Research market, consumer, and category trends to inform design direction
  • Prepare concept sketches, color palettes, style references, and visual assets
  • Develop product mock ups, line sheets, and presentation materials
  • Adapt and manipulate graphic assets to create new design solutions
  • Collaborate with product development, merchandising, sourcing, and technical partners
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Monitor competitive products and category innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product design, packaging design, or product development
  • Experience in the consumable category preferred
  • Familiarity with packaging design and print production processes preferred
  • Knowledge of nutritional guidelines and regulatory considerations a plus
  • Strong creative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented with strong execution and collaboration skills

  • Assist with, support and help drive the planning and execution of transformation of the on-site Design Lab
  • Help create and ensure the project plan, scope, and schedule are maintained by all the parties involved (e.g. consultants, engineers, architects, furniture manufacturers etc.)
  • Conducts project meetings (including taking and sharing minutes), tracks deliverables assigned in meetings, coordinates project updates/reports to all stakeholders.
  • Support Client communications – create leadership presentations, experience questionnaire and actively participate in feedback sessions
  • Oversee design phases including test fits, schematic design, and design development, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and sustainability initiatives
  • Leverage existing Workplace Guidelines, governance, policies, planning metrics, principles, best practices and lessons learned to provide appropriate implementation strategies and solutions for the project
  • Provide guidance in space planning, interior design and furniture selection, ensuring the workplace environment fosters productivity, employee well-being and innovation while aligning with client’s design standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, facility managers and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained.
