As an Associate Deal Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Deal Hub team for the design, analysis, and project management of the largest ($1M+) commercial deal strategies and structures for the top health systems and IDNs across North America. You will report to the Director, Deal Hub. This role will have you collaborate with marketing to create new and enhanced offerings that deliver strong value propositions to Baxter customers and identify key learnings to simplify and streamline the sales support processes. The Deal Hub plays a supporting role to the Sales team in developing and advancing the deal funnel, increasing big deal win rates, and ensuring all requirements are met related to compliance, legal, contracting and pricing policies.
Job Responsibility
Serve on the Deal Hub team within Enterprise Corporate Accounts (ECA)
Own defined workstreams within standard deal opportunities
Project manage defined deal opportunities and workstreams
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, Operations, and Business Leadership
Manage and apply defined deal frameworks and analytics that inform pricing strategy, return on investment, fleet assessment recommendations, and technology replacement plans
Prepare and refine high-quality, leadership-ready materials
Ensure customer and internal deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with Baxter policies
Support select commercial enablement initiatives that improve tools, workflows, and reporting
Partner with the Director, Deal Hub to co-design, advance, and curate the ECA knowledge management system
Support Deal Hub performance visibility and continuous improvement by contributing to metrics reporting, process enhancements, sales team coordination
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
advanced degree or relevant business, finance, healthcare, or commercial experience preferred
7+ years of experience in medical technology, healthcare, or a related commercial environment, with exposure to pricing, sales, contracting, commercial enablement, deal strategy, and customer-facing business support
Experience supporting large contracts, enterprise customers, or commercial opportunities, preferably involving multiple stakeholders, business units, or customer priorities
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, organize inputs, drive follow-up, and keep workstreams moving in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to analyze information, connect insights, and contribute to practical commercial solutions that balance customer needs, business objectives, and operational feasibility
Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
