Job Description

The Associate Data Warehouse Analyst is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into technical requirements. This role is the liaison between the business and the IT resources. The analyst coordinates the various resources, tasks and timing, and handles direct communication to end users.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for analyzing and documenting business intelligence requirements
  • Coordinates deliverables from the BI resources
  • Contributes to the technical design
  • Performs quality control and facilitates user acceptance testing for all BI deliverables
  • Gains working knowledge of related source data systems and tool sets
  • Participate and contribute to regularly scheduled Agile meetings
  • Adheres to Data Services compliance requirements
  • Works in a high-paced environment in support of a broad range of technical solutions and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a related field preferred or working towards it
  • 1-3 years of requirements gathering, data analysis or related work experience
  • Strong English written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of SQL Server BI stack or another relational database tool
  • Power BI
  • Ability to write simple to complex queries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
