The Associate Data Product Manager supports the success of our core data platform by helping manage data requests, clarify requirements, and coordinate delivery with Analytics Engineering. This role is well suited for someone early in their product or project management career who is looking to grow their skills in a data-focused environment. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical partners to help translate business needs into clear data requirements. You will assist with request intake, track priorities, and support efforts that keep the data warehouse reliable and trusted as a source of truth. You will also contribute to the team’s day-to-day operations by supporting Agile processes, helping keep work organized, and ensuring stakeholders are informed as work progresses. As the platform evolves, you will assist with documenting data contracts and processes that support reliable and scalable data pipelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in translating stakeholder business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to help identify upcoming application or schema changes and flag potential downstream impacts
  • Help manage the Analytics Engineering request queue by tracking incoming work and supporting prioritization discussions based on business impact and urgency
  • Support communication with internal data consumers by sharing release notes, data availability updates, and status updates
  • Assist with data quality issue triage by helping coordinate between data producers and data consumers
  • Support short-term data initiatives such as source migrations and new event tracking implementations, from discovery through testing and internal release
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, and help ensure meetings are organized and productive

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, product management, or a related role
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience participating in team ceremonies
  • Experience writing requirements and maintaining documentation in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a technical or data-focused environment is a plus
  • Basic understanding of SQL and Snowflake is a plus
