Job Description

A global industrial company is seeking an Associate Counsel – Employment & Litigation to support its in house legal department. This role will focus primarily on employment law, internal investigations, litigation management, compliance, and legal support for HR and business operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise management and HR on labor and employment matters
  • Conduct and oversee internal investigations
  • Manage employment related disputes and litigation, including coordination with outside counsel
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
  • Support corporate compliance initiatives, policies, and procedures
  • Research and interpret federal, state, and international laws and regulations
  • Assist with responses to legal inquiries from internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with legal department staff and business leadership

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong background in labor and employment law
  • Willingness to travel as needed
