As part of the Agency Habitat team, the Associate Content Creator will partner with Content Creators and Social Media Art Directors and work in close collaboration with brand designers, photographers, videographers, and animators to create UGC for various clients and social platforms. This role is responsible for shooting and editing iPhone-based video and photo assets based on approved shot lists and creative direction, delivering platform-ready content that meets brand standards and strategic goals. Associate Content Creators will contribute ideas, execute on established creative direction, refine assets, and support trend-informed content development without owning overall account strategy or reporting. Success in this role requires a strong eye for detail, efficiency in production workflows, and an ongoing awareness of social formats, trends, and cultural moments to help elevate the quality and relevance of our content.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the Content Creator and Social Media Art Director on the account to assist with approved shot lists and creative direction
Shoot and edit assigned iPhone-based video and photo content, informed by current platform best practices and trends
Execute short-form UGC-style content in collaboration with internal creative partners, as directed
Stay aware of emerging trends, formats and cultural moments, contributing ideas during content planning
Deliver platform-ready video assets to the Social Media Art Directors aligned with brand strategy and creative direction
Maintain organized Dropbox files and adhere to established production workflows
Prioritize efficiency, quality, and consistency across all production output
Support assigned production tasks and intern collaboration as needed
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
An online portfolio showcasing your creative work
Ability to shoot and edit natively on iPhone
Knowledge of CapCut, Edits or other editing apps
Ability to work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary creatives and Social Media Art Directors
Proficiency utilizing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
Confident on-screen presence and personality
Strong QA abilities, with an eye for detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Demonstration of a flexible and adaptable work style
Ability to work well under pressure
Proactive mindset
Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising/PR, RTVF, or related fields) preferred
Between 1 to 2 years’ experience working in content creation for social media
agency experience a plus
Skill in front of and behind the camera is necessary
Flexibility in scheduling and ability to travel when needed is essential
