Job Description:

The Associate Compound Engineer, according to the CCNL and with company directives, carries out the following tasks (exemplifying and not exhaustive).

Job Responsibility:

  • Lab testing of materials and products, applying standard set test methods or experimenting with new approaches for samples evaluation. Result interpretation would be requested beyond reporting data.
  • Workshop compounding line and injection machine operation. Material weighting, mixing and molding in micro and small scale in pilot line. For the machines and molds it will be requested to prepare the setup for planned trials and tests.
  • Regular Maintenance activities for Lab and workshop equipment, including coordination of external service providers.
  • Spot communication and training with colleagues, partners or suppliers, regionally or oversee.

Requirements:

  • Diploma Perito: basic knowledge required in Chemical and/or Mechanical
  • Any experience in laboratory testing or plastic/rubber production machines preferred
  • Languages: English (Intermediate or higher). Chinese or Spanish would be a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience
  • MS office package experienced (excel and powerpoint needed)
  • Independent in daily working activities for small problem solving.
  • Precise, detail-oriented, and curious
  • Teamwork in an international environment.
  • Hands-on approach
  • Living 30 km max from Ponte San Nicolò

Nice to have:

Chinese or Spanish would be a plus.
