The Associate within the Waystone Compliance Solutions Services function will be responsible for the delivery of corporate services to a diverse portfolio of external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone self-motivated, meticulous, detailed-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and think quickly on their feet. Associate to work closely with Waystone Compliance solutions team and leadership team to provide excellent client services and deliver work within the timelines assigned to the specific task. The minimum expectation of the role is as set out below:

Be directly responsible for providing ongoing compliance support services to a portfolio of clients

Assisting with AML screening of customers and conducting risk assessments in a timely manner
Providing day-to-day support to clients and colleagues in executing AML and other compliance related matters for clients
Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements
Attending and contributing to internal meetings
Assisting in promoting the firm at various industry and promotional events or producing certain publications
Keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations
Commitment to continued learning, remaining well-informed regarding internal standards, and business goals/knowledge sharing
Responsible for maintaining timesheets daily and are expected to meet certain targets on a weekly basis, as set by management
Responsible for maintaining, keeping up-to-date, and accurate client files
Take responsibility for overall servicing, maintenance and development of client relationships, taking on a portfolio of clients with complex structures, as required
Able/willing to take on additional duties as and when required
Assists colleagues when capacity permits and notifies manager with availability
Assists when other members of team are out of the office with monitoring inboxes and processing work
Actively participate in team projects as instructed by manager
Ensure the database concerning your assigned engagements contains accurate information on all tabs and that information is consistently updated as appropriate
Assist in drafting and sending proposals and Letters of Engagement to potential clients
Follow current Waystone policies and procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook and/or develop additional policies as needed for jurisdiction specific
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in asset management / financial services compliance for MAS regulated entities
Must be able to work in a fast-paced
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
