Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Associate Company Secretary to join our Corporate Governance team based in Athens. By joining this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Company Secretary and ensuring the company’s governance, compliance, and regulatory obligations are effectively met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide day-to-day support in implementing and maintaining governance policies aligned with internal strategy and regulatory standards
  • Assist in the coordination of director inductions, training programs, and ongoing governance initiatives
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure the accuracy of company records in collaboration with internal teams
  • Support the preparation of agendas, reports, and minutes for Board and Committee meetings
  • Attend meetings as needed and track action items and follow-ups in coordination with the Company Secretary
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely statutory filings and returns
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of shareholder meetings, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Support the development and enhancement of governance structures, including committees and reporting lines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Governance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a company secretarial, governance, or compliance role within a corporate setting
  • Solid understanding of corporate governance principles, statutory requirements, and best practices
  • Experience supporting senior executives and managing confidential governance documents
  • Familiarity with governance software tools
  • A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach to cross-functional work.
