Job Description

GLG is seeking candidates to join our Asia Client Solutions team in Korea. Associates in our Corporate Service team, practice work directly to support and manage research inquiries coming from our client firms based in South Korea. Client Solutions Professionals design and facilitate customized research solutions based upon our clients’ needs, creating innovative solutions on each client assignment. In addition, Research Professionals will have the opportunity to grow key client relationships and to contribute to the development, structuring, and pricing of products specifically for Corporate clients in conjunction with our Business Development team. Associates complete a comprehensive training program, receive daily coaching and feedback, and develop strong, transferable business and leadership skills that will help them excel in their current and future roles. After achieving specific quantitative and qualitative goals, and depending on the business need, Associates typically progress to Senior Associate roles. Senior Associate roles are client-facing, where expectations include end-to-end project delivery and client relationship-building.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting team members on various aspects of client projects and Network Member engagement
  • Recruiting new experts to join GLG’s insight network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods
  • Building your understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects
  • Scheduling and confirming critical calls and meetings between GLG’s clients and Network Members, including scheduling all calls with your new recruits
  • Proactively engaging with GLG’s Network Members to understand their expertise and gauge their fit-on client projects
  • Collaborating closely with client-facing team members to expand projects and rescope of recruiting populations to drive successful client outcomes
  • Learning and upholding our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written English and Korean, fluency in Chinese is an added advantage
  • Confident and strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills and motivation to work on the phone daily with Network Members and potential recruits
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment where we strive to provide an excellent experience for experts and clients
  • Ability to work responsibly and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively, given that priorities shift quickly at GLG
  • High motivation to exceed personal weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills
