Job Description

In this senior leadership role, you will play an integral part in driving the success of our Civil division while establishing best practices in civil engineering. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure excellence in design, delivery, and project outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary civil engineering team, ensuring resource allocation, performance, and development
  • Oversee and guide all aspects of civil engineering design and contract management for complex infrastructure projects
  • Set design criteria, standard detailing, and report templates
  • Review and approve conceptual and detailed designs
  • Utilize and provide guidance on engineering software such as MITS, 12D, EPA-SWMM, REC-RAC, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and others
  • Develop design basis from project and client requirements
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and current industry practices for civil engineering works
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, authorities, and contractors
  • Perform and oversee conceptual and detailed design for civil works

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master’s degree is an advantage
  • Professional Engineer registration (PEPC preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in civil engineering for building and land development infrastructure projects (residential, industrial, commercial, institutional)
  • Strong consultancy background
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects independently
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and understanding of BIM processes, Civil 3D, and Revit
  • Experience in major infrastructure projects (railway, MRT, high-rise buildings)
  • Exposure to transport and water projects
